Good
news for the professional painter:
Platte
River “Signature Series” Frames
“Your”
frame style and no one else’s
Are
you tired of using the same costly, high-grade frame, identical
to the one used on other artist’s work? Looking for something
no one else has, something exclusive to you that makes your work
look its best? Look no further.
Platte
River Art Services ‘Signature Series’
picture frames are one-of-a-kind designs for the professional artist,
reflecting his or her personal painting style, palette and content.
Just as we recognize a James Whistler or Edgar Degas just by looking
at the frame, Platte River’s Signature Series can do the same
for your art.
The
design phase is a cooperative effort between the artist and our
staff, taking 1 to 4 months. A thorough study of your work is followed
by dialog, profile drawings and prototypes. The result is an entirely
new molding profile; the finish may be just as original. Once your
moulding is milled, gesso coated and stored in our warehouse, orders
from your unique stock can be expedited. Your artwork looks its
distinctive best, and it won’t be confused with the work of
other painters.
The
product will cost about the same as what you are paying now for
hand-finished frames, after you cover your one-time tooling costs.
Most importantly, the design is yours alone, just like your distinctive
painting style. Call Bob Pietlock directly for a deeper review of
this logical and intelligent step up for the professional artist.
The
first photo shows some of the initial brainstorming and concoctions
we come up with for an artist client when we set out to create a
personal, signature frame design for their work. The second shot
shows the connection between the final, leafed product and the initial
planning stages and drawings. The third photo is of the design we
created nearly 20 years ago especially for artist Bill Hook’s
work. He uses it to this day and his work is known by this design.
